About me

I have been working in tech since 2012.

I started out in Linux system administration and soon took on lead responsibility for a diverse server landscape with self-managed racks across three locations. In 2016 I shifted my focus to development and have since worked as a software architect and developer at a small agency, now as technical lead.

Alongside that, I have been self-employed from the start: consulting, architecture, implementation and operation of software and server infrastructure.

My focus is on web development, mostly with Vue/Nuxt and Laravel. On top of that, I have built a wide range of cross-platform mobile apps with React Native.
In my spare time I work on reverse engineering, network protocol analysis and CAD / 3D modeling.

Whether employed, self-employed or privately, I prefer self-hosted solutions and independence from the big cloud providers.
